The terrarium is made of a hard plastic so occasionally there may be micro scratches. Also, each terrarium is securely attached to their base and the lids are not removable. It is recommend that you keep your terrarium out of direct sunlight to ensure its lasting quality. If to have any questions please do not hesitate to ask!
